this happened with my viewty once, and im afraid there is nothing you can do about the internal memory of the phone. The only thing you can do now is to take regular backups

Hello - I have the same problem with my KS360. This is my 2nd KS360 within a month - the first one had exactly the same problem, and as it was under warranty, the shop replaced it - but same thing is happening with the replacement. I will be bringing this one back as well before the month warranty runs out with the shop - but I'll be buying another phone though obvioulsy not a KS360.

Hey Phil,

Ive had a "service detached" problem reported by another user in LG KF 510. This problem is not common and appears to be a firmware/software fault. Is the set still in warranty, if yes you can give it in for a software reset and reinstall. This might fix it.

Also what you can do before going to the warranty is to restor the phone to its default settings.. I dont know how it is in the KC 550 but search for something like master reset or restore factory settings in your "settings" menu. This might fix the problem... Please note that this option will erase all data on your phone memory.
Good luck and let me know what happens
Hope I helped

My wife has an LG KC550 and often, when she tries to turn it off, it comes up with a 'Service Detached' message on the screen. This means you can't switch off and can't do much else either. The only way I've found to resolve this is to disconnect and re-connect the battery. Is this a common problem and can anything be done to ensure it doesn't happen again?
